Jazzmyride.com, an online auto accessories business, was faced with the issue of fluctuating inbox deliveries and dipping open rates which were affecting their business. We had this idea of leveraging on the most trending event of that time – The FIFA world cup to boost engagement. Everyone loves to predict and so our email concept was built around a simple idea to get users to guess who would win the match and reply Jazzmyride.com with their prediction. Reply to an email is seen as the highest form of engagement. Contest winners and losers were automatically segregated and triggered communication was sent based on the contest replies.
We achieved a never-before response and the results were as follows:
- 135% increase in open rate
- Maximum customer engagement with thousands of replies flooding in with contest answers
- Positive engagement successfully addressed Gmail Inbox Delivery issues
