Large sections of the country’s youth are looking for economic and livelihood opportunities. In this context, skill development has become a key priority area for the country.
To address this gap, Government of India has initiated a flagship programme named of “Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)” under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), which aims to fund the skill training of 2.7 Million People of India. With a large pool of skilled people, India has an opportunity to become a skill provider for the world, particularly the ageing developed world.
The challenge for the Government was
- to identify potential candidates for skilling and linking them to the closest training centers.

The massive outreach program resulted into following outcomes:
✔ Awareness of PMKVY campaign was built among over 440 Million People.
✔ Intent to participate was captured from 75 Million youth which helped in creating a Robust Database of Unemployed Youth
✔ Of the 7.5 Million participants, 2.7 million shared their Entire Profile.
✔ The campaign got response from 18,802 (98%) Pincodes out of 19,101 Pincodes.
✔ Campaign got participation from 5205 out of (5537) sub-districts (94% Coverage).
